2020 visions

Why hello. I hope your last five months have been just grand, despite all the angst and brainpower over the presidential impeachment. Count me among the convinced. The current president should go. His narcissism and corruption and mean-spiritedness are decimating us. But that's not what this post is about.

I wish clarity and vision for you in 2020. I wish strength, health, abundance, and love. We have the chance for a new start, a new decade even. What an opportunity! Whatever it is that you're thinking about stopping, you probably should. The new thing you want to do? Do it! For me, this means fewer martinis and more push ups. Fewer debt dollars and more writing.

One way I want to start fresh in the new year is to be honest about who I am in these pages. All the news about disinformation campaigns, troll farms, online bots, blah, blah, blah, has made me rethink my decision to mask my identity behind "blunderbuss writer." I'm going to stop using pseudonyms in the new year and just be honest. My name is Doug Adams. I'm a 5th grade teacher in central Massachusetts. I'm a real person and these are my real thoughts. Good to be with you.
